The tour goes along the Moselle to Wehlen. This is where the ascent to the Trinity Cross on the Wehlener Plateau begins. The Trinity Cross used to be the destination of many devout prayers who made pilgrimages there in physical and spiritual needs. The Trinity was and is still a popular destination for excursions; because under the broad-crowned linden trees there are roughly timbered benches and the wide, grassy crossroads is an ideal playground for children. It then goes downhill through the vineyards to the Siebenborn monastery. Continue on the Maare-Moselle cycle path to Lieser and along the Moselle back to the hotel.
